Anna Burke is a versatile artist, adept in both painting and textile art. Inspired by the philosophy of SAORI, Bruke began weaving in 2016, using an intuitive process to create textiles rich in color, texture, and movement. Her artistic process expanded in recent years when she began experimenting with watercolor paints. Like her weaving process, her painting practice is meditative and intuitive. The end result, painted always on 6" x 6" white paper, are beautiful abstract geometric designs that she calls towers.
