Henry McDonald (b. 1961) started painting at a day program and quickly became a prolific and devoted artist. His subjects are diverse, ranging from fruit to flowers to portraits. Regardless of what he portrays, all his work shares a similar joyful palette. McDonald also uses his art practice as a means to support his love of gift giving, frequently passing his work along to friends. When not making art, McDonald keeps busy; he enjoys bowling, going to the movies, and shopping.
