Yesenia Duran is an Austin-based artist whose practice focuses on members of the animal kingdom. Pulling inspiration from nature guides, Duran creates encyclopedic collections of drawings chronicling a wide variety of species. When she's not in the studio, Duran enjoys spending time outside and has recently begun raising and releasing Monarch butterflies.
